Founded in 2010, EVgo opened our first public Electric Vehicle (EV) fast charging station in 2011. Today we have more than 850 EV fast charging stations in more than 30 states and the District of Columbia.

EVgo also provides EV drivers access to more than 1,900 fast chargers and 29,000 Level 2 chargers through EVgo and our roaming partners, making us one of the largest public EV fast charging networks in the nation.

EVgo is committed to fast charging for all, and we have continued building out our network of public EV fast charging stations in 2021 -- EVgo now has more than 850 public fast charging locations across the U.S. ranging from 50 kW through 350 kW and just under 2,000 new chargers in active Engineering & Construction pipeline stages. EVgo opened more than 75 new EV charging stations in 2020, across California, Colorado, Georgia, New Jersey, Virginia, Washington, DC, and Washington State -- averaging more than one new station opening per week.
