EVgo's Accessibility Statement

At EVgo we believe in Electric for All, a vision that includes ensuring accessibility to our network of 950+ fast charging stations, as well as to all features on our website and app, for all EVgo customers.

Station Accessibility:

Each EVgo fast charging station was built in accordance with existing local and federal code at the time of construction. As we build new stations and grow our network, we are continually updating our planning to ensure compliance with the latest federal and local ADA standards. We currently use several measures to assess the accessibility of a station’s design and functionality, including the path of travel to access the charger; the slope of the ground; the width of any adjacent sidewalks, if applicable, to ensure wheelchair passage; the size of parking spaces, to ensure van accessibility; and the installation of handrails wherever possible. While these measures are important, they are just the beginning. We will continue to evaluate and improve the accessibility of our stations as we grow.

EVgo.com and EVgo App Accessibility:

​ EVgo is also committed to making EVgo.com and the EVgo app accessible to all customers, including those with disabilities, across all devices and platforms. We are currently leveraging the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA requirements and working with an external accessibility expert to ensure accessibility to the content and functionality of both platforms.
