EVgo is honored to have been responsible for building the Washington State portion of the West Coast Electric Highway, a robust EV charging network with hundreds of DC fast chargers and thousands of Level 2 charging units. The Highway is made possible through a public-private partnership between EVgo, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), Port of Seattle, and Forth with the singular vision to provide a network of fast charging stations enabling electric vehicle drivers to make longer trips and travel between cities

EVgo’s I-5 Corridor Project bolsters existing fast charging infrastructure along I-5 by providing dual charging stations in six communities:

· Bellingham

· Chehalis

· DuPont

· Lynnwood

· SeaTac

· Tacoma

This extensive network of West Coast Electric Highway DC fast charging stations is located every 25-50 miles along Interstate 5, Hwy 99, and other major roadways in British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, and California. The Washington State Department of Transportation leads the initiative for Washington State.
